The 2nd Ulju Mountain Film Festival aims at expressing the theme of "Coexistence with Nature" through the teaser and main posters. Both posters feature paintings of a mountain, one from a distant view and the other from close range. By portraying the complex symbols and graceful landscapes of the mountains in East Asia and the idea of the human and natural worlds becoming part of each other, they successfully capture the theme and the identity of the 2nd festival.
The teaser poster features the deep green shades of a mountain during the late summer/early autumn, the period when the festival is held, presenting us with a refreshing and lively image. The landscape comprises not only the image of a mountain but also the sky, earth, and rocks, all the elements that make up nature, and implicitly touches on the identity and the thrust of the festival, which aims at promoting "Coexistence with Nature"
The main poster features not only a mountain being the main agent and subject of the festival but also people. The image of two people standing side by side staring at the mountain allows us to rethink what it means to coexist with nature. The encounter between people and nature embodies the very purpose of the festival: fi nding a symbiotic way of life rather than considering nature as an object to be conquered or as a background to be seen.

Mountains and humans are born on the same soil but exist in different ways. The trailer warmly portrays how mountains and humans feel connected and get intertwined with each other and eventually form one giant mountain range. The trailer uses simple lines and softened colors to engage the audience. Mountains are depicted as something dynamic and full of life, breathing like humans. Although humans often destroy nature, mountains are willing to embrace humans in their arms. The trailer ends with an image of mountains and humans becoming one, guiding the audience to see the ultimate goal the festival wants to achieve.
