Mexico has no ice walls or snow-covered mountains. Hector was the first Mexican to reach the north face summit of Mt. Everest, and Daniel, who was nine when Hector reached the top has no ice climbing experience. The two head to Canada in April 2016 to climb the world’s biggest ice wall, the Slipstream. The infamous 950-meter high icefall with a giant serac at the top has caused 12 casualties thus far... (Chrisine PAE)
