WANG Qiang
You perhaps have seen on TV Tibetans making a deep bow with their whole body on a rugged mountain. We might have considered it simply as a scene to watch without understanding the reason for the repentance. This film searches inside the penance with friendly dramatic narratives and symbolic rhetoric. Tibetan monk Tenzin barely manages to reach home, where he finds his brother in a vegetative state, his mother caring for him and his fiancee. People in the countryside are usually warm and friendly, but they force each other to be tied together and subjugated to the community. Bewildered Tenzin¡®s karma is extended and eventually the origin of the karma is hidden. That opens up our eyes. (HAN Song-i)
