There is small town called Sobolinye near the border between Russia and China. Member of Environmental police Yuri Trush is on his mission to cope with a tiger threatening the village. Two villagers have been sacrificed already. Will he succeed in capturing the tiger? With the tight placement of record, interview and reenactment footage, Conflict Tiger is full of tension like a thriller film although it is a documentary. Unfortunately, the ending is heartbreaking and it is found out that the main reason for the tragedy is the collapse of the eco system due to human error. There are fewer than 400 tigers left in the Far East area. They have to be preserved at least before it is too late. (KIM Hyung-seok)
