When nothing goes to plan, be it tests, romance, or employment, Haewon returns to her rural hometown and there she spends her winter, then spring, summer, fall, and winter again. After living through these four special seasons, Haewon realizes her real reason for returning home, and begins a new spring. The film is director Yim Soonrye’s latest, and it was a box-office hit in the first half of 2018. It is a young adult film portraying this generation’s concerns and maturity, with a delicious array of simple, but mouthwatering dishes. (JO Ji-hoon)
