Extreme challenges such as climbing the Himalayas bring two reactions by ordinary folks. The first is, ¡°wow, that¡¯s incredible!¡± It is followed by, ¡°but why do they do it?¡± In this film, climbers including leader Um Honggil are repeatedly interviewed and tell us about the value and meaning of their climb, but they are not easy to understand. Watching them reclimb the mountain to collect the bodies of their former members, however, we understand that the value and meaning cannot be expressed in a few words. That¡¯s the power of this film that is based on a true story. (KIM Se-jin)
