Chun participates in a coming-of-age ritual where she goes into the human world as a dolphin. There, she barely escapes death with the help of Kun, a human boy, who dies to save her. Upon returning to her world, Chun violates a taboo to save Kun, by raising a baby dolphin with his soul inside to return him to the human world. However, this violation brings disaster into her world. This family animation took 12 years in the making, incorporating Oriental colors, beautiful visuals, and touching music into the epic tale of a girl trying to return a boy to his world. (Jinna LEE)
