This coming-of-age story about a Russian aristocrat girl in Imperial Russia headed for the North Pole is full of vivid reality, and helps us to feel the meaning of adventure and challenge. The colors are rather toned down, but they are beautifully balanced and harmonized, creating a controlled artwork. The shading and free angles are also unique and characteristic. (KIM Se-jin)
