Velika, a young teacher, is sent to a
remote village in the mountains to teach the children who live there. However,
the children never seem to come. The old lady who works in the school is the
only living soul that meets her. As the days go by and Velika becomes
impatient, the old lady explains to her that the children will come once she
learns to light a fire and keep the classroom warm. This is a film about our
grandmothers and the wisdom that we so easily take for granted and let slip
past us. (Jinna LEE)
