They wake up in the early morning, chant Buddhist scriptures, attend classes, fight, and fall asleep while listening to heroic stories. The film focuses on the young boys living in a Tibetan Buddhist monastery. Though constantly bickering, brothers clumsily take care of one another, and the boy worried about his future is already a semi-adult. Though isolated from the rest of world, the boys learn the rules and wisdoms of the world. In the daily life captured by the director, they seem at times like ordinary brats, and at times like little monks standing on the side of righteousness.  (HAN Song-i)
