Dorottya ZURBO, Arun BHATTARAI
All parents want to express their own experience and insight in helping their children set a path for their future. Gyembo¡¯s father, who operates a temple in Bhutan, wants him to become a monk and keep money in the family. But to a normal boy who likes soccer and girls on Facebook, such a ¡°happy monk¡± philosophy is nothing but empty prayers. Gyembo¡¯s younger sister Tashi makes it clear that she wants to become a soccer player. Someone like Tashi who wants to change her gender, and someone like Gyembo who is stuck between two paths both represent today¡¯s youth. And the love between brother and sister is quite brilliant.
