After failing her audition, cellist Maria returns home when her brother dies. While mourning her loss, Maria must open her eyes to those who need her. It¡¯s the familiarity in her hometown that holds her there and calms her nerves. Watch as Maria loses her offhand manner and begins to smile as she becomes part of her family and community. As an added bonus, look out for the layers of mountaintops, rooftops, and the coniferous forest in this Alpine village that still speaks an ancient language. Listen to the choir singing in the quiet stillness of the village and you¡¯ll soon be thinking of home. (HAN Song-i)
