A white male director’s original intent was to bring two tough guides on a badass adventure, Nepal’s first female mountain guide and climber Pasang Lhamu Sherpa Akita, and Kathmandu’s punk rocker and single mom Sareena Rai. The idea was to make a hardcore rock ‘n’ roll film to empower Nepalese women. That didn’t go to plan, and the two women end up doing it their own way. (Billy CHOI)
