Calipatria is a state prison in the Californian desert. Sergio Cassilas(58) lives in solitary confinement serving out his life sentence. Once a day for an hour he works in the prison yard, the one place where he can reveal his story and secrets. Sergio’s story is beautifully told as the camera spans out to show Sergio working alone in the deserted prison yard. (JO Ji-hoon)
