The camera is fixed on a countryside landscape. Filled with the sounds of birds and wind, with occasional airplane noises, the beautiful and quiet landscape is twice interrupted by the two directors’ voices. Their intention seems clear in the fireworks and the subsequent smoke that slowly engulfs the entire landscape. It is a playful and paradoxical commentary on the artistic production and conventions of the landscape as reenactment. (JO Ji-hoon)
