Kesang Tseten LAMA
A documentary about the aftermath of the earthquake that shook Nepal on April 25, 2015. Life was completely destroyed in the peaceful village of Langtang where tourists came to go trekking on the Himalaya, and people farmed, bred cows and made cheese. More than 2/3 of villagers were killed and life is cruel for the survivors in the ruins. Life is slow, but moving, as they embrace their loss and rebuild. The film is centered around the narrative of Gyalpo. Can he return to making cheese? (KIM Se-jin)
