Amy BENSON
This is the sequel to Drawing the Tiger(2015), which screened at the Ulju Mountain Film Festival 2 years ago. Darnal¡®s family is still just as poor as then. Their eldest son Kumar heads for Malaysia to make money for debt relief. Their poverty is not an issue of the family or individuals but the contradiction caused by Nepalese society and the global system. It is the harsh record of a family that has continued for almost 10 years. May the time of hope come to the family. (KIM Hyung-seok)
