The world¡¯s highest mountain, Mount Everest, bustles with mountaineers during the climbing season. Their numbers continue to increase every year even though the Nepali government charges them a hefty sum in royalties. Pollution was sure to follow, and is increasingly getting worse. The director collects the waste left behind by other expeditions, but that in itself is a dangerous and costly expedition. The film begs for a reflection on a new Alpinism spirit for cleaner climbing. (SHINYoungchul)
