Apa Sherpa lost his father at 12 and began working as a porter to support his family. He became a professional Sherpa and a Himalayan legend who has climbed Mount Everest 21 times. The little giant believes that “the real treasure of Nepal is not Himalaya, but the people who live under its wings.” Not satisfied with his own success, Sherpa continues to take steps to bring a happy future for other Nepali children.
