Brian HALL, Keith PARTRIDGE
A story about the life and mountaineering of a true Alpinist, the British mountaineer Sir Chris Bonington, who for 50 some years has continued to challenge himself to only those mountains not yet ascended. After becoming the first British man to ascend the North Wall of the Eiger in the Alps, he took on the Himalayas. He made himself known as an Alpinist with his ascent to the Baintha Brakk (The Ogre) of the Pakistan Himalayas. Since then, he has paved the way for Himalayan climbing with his expeditions to the South face of Annapurna and the Southwest face of Mount Everest. His humility and honesty is notable as we come to know his philosophy on life and mountaineering in this documentary. (SHIN Young-chul)
