Dong-hee, who came down to her hometown Jeju, happens to join a middle-aged woman on her way to bury her mother’s remains next to her father, who lost his life in the Jeju April 3 Incident on the mountain. Dong- hee’s grandfather had lost his life on the same occasion, at the same spot. The scenes of the deceased cross with the protagonists, as if asserting that unidentified history is not over yet.
