A dam project takes off along the Susitna Rive, home to a salmon run in Alaska. While those in charge of the dam construction insist hydropower can help replace fossil fuels in harmony with the environment, the residents believe the dam will destroy the nature they have tried hard to protect. Beautifully capturing the salmon run, this film gives us an opportunity to think outside the dichotomy between development and protection and reflect on what other alternatives there are.
