There seems to be no limit for two young climbers who receive systematic training and great support. Some even call them “ little gym mutants. ” The film cheerfully maintains its upbeat tone, following the story of two American climbing sensations, Kai Lightner and Ashima Shiraishi, who learn important life lessons through hard training, international competitions, and their new journey to climb on natural rock.

Josh Lowell is the Founder of Big UP Productions. With co-director Peter Mortimer, his documentaries have won awards, Emmys, and aired globally. He and his brother, Brett spent 7 years documenting Tommy Caldwell’s quest to climb the Dawn Wall.
