Two men row in a canoe. This is a road movie that attempts to capture the nature, environment, and traces of lives along the Namhangang River which springs from a small stream. There seems to be no sign of rain as drought bites. These two men spend more time digging the riverbed than paddling. Contrary to the desolate landscape created by drought, the scenery captured on camera is calm and peaceful with country songs as background music. Over the course of their journey, the two meet all kinds of landscapes including distorted fragments of modernization unnaturally inserted in the beautiful natural landscapes. The waterways gradually lose their original shapes and turn into artificial lakes. At the end of their journey, it finally rains, which embodies their dream to freely travel through these waterways to reach the sea.
