Lee Yoonheok, a 26-year-old-man who was aspiring to become a PE teacher, had to give up on all his dreams after he found himself suffering a rare type of cancer. At such a crossroad, the idea of participating in ¡°Le Tour de France¡± that covers more than 3,500km captured his mind. In the documentary, he challenges himself by participating in this race, a challenge that no Korean has ever succeeded yet. He faces two obstacles during this journey: a road that stretches endlessly and his body suffering from cancer. The reason for his challenge is not to win a title ¡°the first Korean to finish Le Tour de France¡± or to tell a story of human victory; but rather to prove he is alive. The documentary features beautiful landscapes of the Pyrenees and the Alps. His life was short, but it seems like his spirit is still there with the mountains. Once again, I sincerely pray for him to rest in peace- this man who has deeply touched us with the documentation of his life.
