The scoundrels invade Yun-hong’s quiet mountain village where she lives alone with her mother. Yun-hong finds herself engaged in a chase across the mountains. All she has is a pickaxe against the scoundrels armed with guns. The chase for survival is interspersed with the director’s dark humor. The film uses the nature of mountains as an open space that is at the same time closed off from the outside to maximize suspense and thrill.
