Lance Mackey is globally famous dog sledge racer. He won the cup four times at the Iditarod race, as long as 1,049 miles. The Great Alone is the story of Lance Mackey and about his life, family and race. He won four cups and became a sportsman representing Alaska, but his life has not been smooth. He suffered from a cancer and lost a finger. This film consists of old archive footages, present day¡¯s interview and clips of Mackey in race. This is the story of a man who had to move around magnificent snowy fields and fight the chill alone with
racing dogs. Viewers can meet polished shooting and editing.
