American climber Alex Lowe died from an avalanche at the Himalayas in 1999. His close friends and climbing partners Conrad Anker and Chris Ericson were there too, but they were lucky enough to barely survive. In memory of Lowe, Anker and Ericson add variety to Winter Dance route, which Lowe first climbed, and pioneer a new route Nutcracker. Hard frozen waterfalls and climbers shot from the air are magnificently presented.
