Dimo PETKOV
Best Bulgarian mountain runner Kiril Nikolov is going to attempt to make a new record in mountain running at Kom-emine route, which is stretched 600km from east to west. The current record is 5 days and 14 hours. Nikolov wants to finish the route within 5 days. 53 people including coaches, a medical team and co-runners are with him. In the hot weather over 30 degrees, the beginning is smooth, but as Nikolov gets his ankle hurt, he can barely continue walking. The team needs a new strategy and Nikolov goes on although he feels like giving up. What made it possible for him to not discard the plan until the last moment on day 5? Perhaps people who cheered for him every break time, family members and friends who woke up earlier than him and stayed up until he hit the sack and his team mates did.
