Renato is the last nomad shepherd in Italy who still pastures the sheep from the spring to the fall and brings the sheep to the city in the winter. Being shepherd was the only dream that he’s ever had since little kid. He loves his life as shepherd and is truly proud of what he does. So Renato prepares a surprise gift in his own way for the kids in the city;
 to give the chance to see the sheep in real to the kids who have never seen the real sheep in their lives. The scene where Renato finally arrives at the Duomo of Milan with 700 sheep and the children are running towards Renato and sheep makes such a heartwarming spectacle.
