The journey on two wheels where you should go 4,000km of more than 20 sections; Tour de France, with its history of more than a century is the dream for the cycle maniacs and Francois is one of them. He once dreamed to be a professional cycle athlete but ended up being a middle aged cycle seller. But he still lives his dream in his own way. Despite the typical exaggeration and forced coincidences of comedy genre, the film is enjoyable with the beautiful scenery in it. It also offers the satire of the shallow commercialism and the excessiveness of the media evolving around the event. The message that Francois conveys us when he takes the sports as the accomplishment not as the competition and he¡¯s growing up as a human constantly pushing his own boundaries is the best thing this film could offer to the audiences. The simple and humble family values are another charm of the movie along with the stellar cameo presences of the legend cyclists such as Bernard Hinault and Laurent Jalabert.
