Skyrunning is an extreme sport of mountain running above 2,000metres where the incline exceeds 30%. Kilian Journet, skyrunning world champion from Spain challenges to break the record of the skyrunning in the mountains of higher than 4,000 metres; Mont Blanc, Il Cervino and The Matterhorn. This challenge means more than a record-breaking, as it¡¯s to follow the footsteps of the legendary skyrunner Bruno Brunod.
The challenge also means a way to express his respect to Bruno Brunod, the great legend, his friendship and gratitude to other skyrunners who voluntarily trained together and became the pacemakers for Kilian, and respect and affection towards the nature as well. In this new film from Sebastien Montaz-Rosset who has collaborated with Killian for a long time, the skyrunning champion Kilian looks more like running across the sky through the clouds, not over the mountains.
