White Trail

In a Tatra village, Zośka and Władek live in a cottage inherited from their parents. Zośka is in love with Jasiek, who is however infatuated with Hanka, fascinated by a skilled skier, Andrzej. When both are buried in an avalanche, Andrzej is found, but Hanka is lost. Andrzej and Zośka find consolation in each other, and heartbroken Jasiek seeks solace on the white trail of the mountains.

Adam Krzeptowski, an alumnus of Krakow schools. In 1922, he moved to Zakopane, opening a photography business and exploring filmmaking. He created short documentaries and two feature films, including White Trail, which featured at the Venice Film Festival.
