Spindrift - The Barry Blanchard Story is a 29-minute documentary that follows Canada’s best-known alpinist after he suffers a devastating accident and serious brain injury. Taking an unconventional approach to the documentary form that mimics the shattered consciousness that Barry faces, the film is a personal reflection on the life and adventures, love and tragedy that shape our lives.
