Deep in the night, high up in the mountains: a young lumberjack illegally felling cypress trees discovers a trekker who has broken his leg during a tumble from a rock. The trekker is a solo traveler and offers the man ten times the price of a tree for bringing him back down to the valley. What will the lumberjack decide? And will he receive his reward?

Jing-ye studied at the National Taipei University of Arts in Film Master's program. Her works present the conflict and reconciliation between people in a fatalistic tone. Before becoming an animator, director and screenwriter, she worked in the film art department and worked as a still photographer.
