Tim Macartney-Snape, who lives in Australia, earth’s flattest continent, has a most ambitious plan. He wants to be the first person to fully climb Mount Everest, the entire 8,850 meters of it, beginning from where the mountain itself is measured- sea level. After two months of running and walking, Tim finally reaches Everest Base Camp. Will he find the strength to fulfill his dream?

He is Australia’s most experienced Expedition Cameraman/Director. Early in his career he filmed Sir Edmund Hillary’s Ocean to Sky and Ganges jetboat expedition. He has filmed two Everest ballooning expeditions, and many other adventures. He walked most of the way himself carrying a 16mm camera.
