In Cuba today, two men tired of a life of hard work are working in the coal industry. Accompanied by the official radio, time passes between the transformation of the wood and long evenings when the charcoal makers sink into a state of waking dream.

Davide TisatoDavide Tisato
Swiss-Italian, studied sociology before going to Cuba to study cinema at the EICTV. Before Carbon, he directed several self-produced documentaries on the living conditions of workers, reflecting his sociology studies. Currently, he works between Switzerland, Italy and France on various film projects.
