150 years after the ascent of the Matterhorn by Lucy Walker, the first woman to achieve this feat, Marie-France Hendrikx, historian and mountain enthusiast, decided to investigate this largely unknown English woman who is nevertheless one of the pioneers of mountaineering, and to climb the Matterhorn again, in the same conditions, in the clothes of the time: in skirt.
