Franz Klammer finds himself at the 'eye of the storm' when he shows up for the men’s downhill competition at the 1976 Winter Olympic Games. Since the previous season the charismatic newcomer has won virtually every race. This is the most important race of his life in which he skis a line that nobody thought was possible and which will make him a legend in the sport of downhill skiing.

While still a student, he directed off-theater productions and worked in film as an editor and unit manager. He founded Filmschmiede to produce image and music videos, among other projects. In 2001, he founded Sofa Safari TV Produktion, where he mainly produced promotion videos and TV shows.
