He made his feature debut with Nostalgia. And with Ppongttol, Mermaid Unlimited showed his affection for his hometown, Jeju island. Other works such as Wind of Island and Jiseul were awarded at numerous film festivals in Korea. And also produced Eyelids, Pamir, a story related to the Sewol Ferry tragedy.
