A journey throughout Chile's corners observing transport stops and conversations between passengers. Desert, city, sea, and snow are the stages for this mosaic of day-to-day situations, where humor, drama, and the absurd are combined. A social portrait that lights a diverse and unequal territory, and allows us a glance into the desires and fractures of a country that is tired of waiting.

Carlos ARAYA DÍAZCarlos ARAYA DÍAZ
Filmmaker and writer. He is part of the MAFI collective and was one of the filmmakers behind Propaganda and Dios which both awarded at Visions du Réel in 2014 and 2019. Space Journey is his first documentary as a director.
