For centuries, Inuit have lived on the frozen ocean. As climate change rapidly melts sea ice, the outside world sees unprecedented opportunities to exploit the opening waters for financial gain. Divided by aggressive colonization, the Inuit of Canada and Greenland are coming together to protect what will remain of their world.

Scott Ressler is a producer, director, cameraman, and editor for the National Geographic Society, where he's created multiple documentaries to support ocean conservation efforts worldwide. The Last Ice is Scott¡¯s first feature-length documentary.
