Let's put a flag on an iceberg and imagine that it is one nation. The act of this artist delivers an unambiguous message that the concept of countries is human-made and temporary. The idea of nations is considered to be unaffected and permanent, and this contrasts with the melting polar icecaps. This work reminds us of environmental threats, rather than of anarchistic political action. We should be more worried that the glaciers could disappear tomorrow than about a nation's temporality. This documentary won the prize in the Mountain Nature category at Tegernsee International Mountain Film Festival.
