The indigenous people of Amazon have long been guardians of their land, water, and animals. Since 1970, however, more than 20% of the Amazonian forests in Brazil were destroyed, threatening their home. Illegal land occupants have transformed these rainforests into the Savannah Desert by cutting down forests and building farms, no longer allowing the Amazon to function as the lungs of Earth. Scientists warn that recovery becomes impossible once 40% of the rainforest is destroyed. The indigenous people of Amazon come together, to ensure that such a moment never arrives, and to protect their home and the future of mankind.
