Martin SMATANA
A little boy visits his grandfather living on a mountain alone and spends a nice time with him. As time passes, the grandfather becomes weaker and weaker, and the moment of farewell seems near. This puppet animation is made with fabric patches whose texture looks so soft, and which play an essential role in delivering its message. Death, the unavoidable fate, is sublimated with the warmth of fantasy and memory in this touching family animation.
