Every year, Emika goes camping with her cousin Antti in the vast Saimaa Lake covered with snow. Squirrels in winter coats and woodpeckers ready for the cold greet them. Owls flap into the night sky over the spruce forest to start their hunting. Emika sets up a tent by the frozen lake and pierces the ice to start fishing. This film is a portrayal of the best camping possible in Finland, the country of winter. During his career, he has directed dozens of documentary series and films which have been screened on TV and film festivals around the World. He is the founder of DocArt and Taiga Films and manages both companies.
