German mountaineer and explorer Robert Jasper climbed the North face of Alps (Eiger, Grand Jorasses, and Matterhorn) all within a year, then has continued to make extreme climbs at Himalaya’s Mt. Everest and Patagonia’s Cerro Torre. This film captures his latest challenge – a 30-day solo climbing expedition to Greenland. This first rope solo ascent of Stonecircle (7c, 450m) up Molar Spire brings a spectacular impression combined with a diary-like essay of the climber. If Jasper’s climbing is the lead role, Greenland’s natural scenery and lyrical soundtrack play the supporting role. It gives us the homework of 'reflection' on our solo journey through the sea of life. The film is a record of climbing, a piece of poem, and a book of lessons.
