John SKOOG
John Skoog¡¯s directorial debut is produced by Erik Hemmendorff. Hemmendorff has participated in producing and writing all films by Ruben Ostlund, director of the 2017 Cannes Film Festival Palme d¡¯Or recipient, The Square. Skoog¡¯s film is a dreamy portrayal of the lights, landscape, and characters within a midsummer in Sweden. Each episode is separate from the other, making it difficult to find the exact narrative link. The more you try to make sense of it, the more confusing it gets. Still, your eyes are captivated by the reality displayed with special perspectives and angles, and your ears are captivated by the precisely arranged sounds. It is a 'cinema' that encourages a focused gaze and participation. (JO Ji-hoon) [Screening Information] * Every film is only available from 00:00(KST) on its start date to 23:59(KST) on its end date.
