On a silent night deep in a forest, a gathering of wild animals starts an opera with a little bird singing an aria. A squirrel conducts the concerto with passion, and the animals make an exquisite tune with each of them playing. This short animated film portrays the gestures and facial expressions of the conductor in an outstanding way and presents a superb harmony of sound and motion that are well directed. This collective of French directors caught the attention of the animation world in 2016 with their short film Garden Party, which was nominated at the VES Awards in Los Angeles and went on to win the Grand jury price at Nashville Film Festival among other accolades, which culminated in being nominated for Best Animated Short Film at the 2018 Oscars.
