“What’s wrong with my family?” By asking this question from the perspective of children, the film delivers the main message. This question is universal in the sense that most grown-ups must have asked it in their childhood at least once, yet at the same time, this film is unique in the sense that it clearly reveals the problems of families in contemporary Korean society. The type of families has become so diverse that there is not a fixed standard nowadays, and the stereotypical traditional family has been breaking up. Under these circumstances, what would children think? This film tells a story from the eyes of children, but it looks at important issues. (KIM Se-jin)
